Reports on online games and their confirmations (Spring 2008 season).

Seasonal Tournament. Dudge Castle vs. Evgeniy Humans. At the beginning of the game (1-2 weeks), something went wrong with the development. The result was golems in the Citadel and 1000 gold, plus a second town. I realized that there were no artifacts for stats on my side and instead of 3rd-level Magma Elementals, I had a bunch of other units. I was upset, but not too much, as I managed to level up on the Advanced Earth skill. I decided to go for Expert Earth during the upgrade and immediately target Evgeniy. The second week showed that I wouldn't get Expert Earth quickly and would spend the rest of the game harassing everyone I could reach. I built up to 2000 and started harassing. Somewhere in the beginning of the third week, after buying all the Rays, I broke through to the center with Nagas and Gargoyles. The opponent decided not to engage and retreated to his Castle. I decided not to attack the Castle but to raid his Naga bank. There, due to morale, one unit was killed. The opponent appeared, and I had two options: retreat home or take the Ogre Mace (I somehow didn't think about attacking again). I decided not to engage 10+ Greater Cyclops and retreated to my base. I moved the Naga group towards my Naga bank and started building a Capitol. On day 7, I tried to position myself so that I could reach the Cyclops, but I already saw that I wouldn't make it. On day 1, I bought a hero and moved the entire army to the main road, trying to catch up. And then I noticed Solmyr sitting in the tavern, as it was Expert training. I retreated to my base and started training. I went to the Well and slowly moved towards the opponent's Castle (planning to attack on day 1 without reinforcements). On day 1, there was a plague. Realizing that the opponent no longer had an army to draw from, and my scout was near the artifact merchant, I bought the Golden Bow. The bow didn't make it in time. The opponent decided to attack himself. Dudge won.
