if you look at it from this angle, swordsmen also die from magic, and quickly. And so do dogs and ghosts. And if, instead of (or together with?) the hounds, you put a single unicorn next to the archers, the warlock will be defeated. Not always, of course... but the chance of survival is pretty good.
