Which Haven heroes do you prefer?

When choosing a hero, I pay attention to 3 factors (as do most players, I suppose): special ability, starting skills, and army. That's why I like two heroes: Dugald and Axel. Dugald is good because of his starting archers and the bonus to them, plus I like to develop his machinery (firearms + rapid-fire ballista), although you can also level up Battle Battle, as there are plenty of archers. Axel is not bad in the late game because his starting troops are not outstanding, but his special ability is good: it enhances knights, their range, and the Overseer skill. Neither of them has any unnecessary skills leveled up; everything is relevant. Dugald focuses on attack with ranged units, while Axel focuses on attack with Overseer. Ellaina is a great secondary hero because of her bonus to the "Tax Collector" skill – we give her all the peasants, and we get money.
