This is simply untrue. I will respond (but only once, I will not respond to baseless accusations based on rumors and excerpts from private correspondence):

When we tried, perhaps foolishly and possibly categorically, but very sincerely - to discuss, find out more about the rules, and even criticize - the posts were deleted, and we (in particular, Dirty Player) were politely told to go away... something like "no one is forcing you to play, the tournament is voluntary." After our posts were deleted, the question of the content of Dirty Player's post becomes irrelevant.
The main complaint is about the actions of the organizers - a dangerous precedent is being created, when posts (note - not spam or flame, I emphasize - this is IMPORTANT), that do not coincide with the opinion of the organizers, are deleted (As I understand it, the justifications may be different - expediency, irrelevance...).

Such a reaction to criticism (even if it is mistaken, absurd, and sometimes even unpleasant) that is perceived as a personal insult (I did not want to offend Adelaide personally in any way) - contradicts the spirit of free communication and exchange of views, and no one has ever talked about complete permissiveness. It is necessary to express one's attitude - a civic position, if you will. Based on this, it was preliminarily decided that if, I emphasize IF, this will be repeated and become a system, it will be necessary to clearly express disagreement with such actions - by leaving posts in the tournament topic:
"I will NOT participate in this tournament." I believe that this is in no way "subversive activity" (what a term... in the style of the 30s :-)), but only contributes to improving the atmosphere and working out the principles of interaction and uniting the player community. Simply put - TOGETHER we (players and/or organizers) are strong.
Let's, however, in the future:
Clarify such issues in private, and not make hasty public accusations, drawing incorrect conclusions from the log (or an excerpt) of my private correspondence on ICQ.
By the way, I warned my interlocutors (also tournament organizers, very competent and respected by me) explicitly that the conversation should remain between us - there is nothing shameful for me there, I warned precisely to avoid unnecessary hype.
