In fact, in Albion (in America, the European Union), we are called Belarusians. I saw opposition literature printed in the European Union, and there we were called Belarusians. And I'm not sure that you haven't made changes in connection with the change in the country's name. For example (although not entirely accurate): we have a tennis player named Azarenko. Previously, her surname was written that way (i.e., Azarenko), and now in Russian (I saw it on the "Russia" channel), they write Azarenka (because in Belarusian it is written as Azaranka). So, you haven't convinced me.
