A public statement requires a public response; silence and censorship only drive the problem inward. I believe it would be wrong not to respond to you, whom I hold in high regard. In essence: When we tried, perhaps foolishly and possibly too assertively, but very sincerely, to discuss, learn more about the rules, and even criticize – the posts were deleted, and we (in particular, Dirty Player) were politely dismissed – something along the lines of "no one is forcing you to play; the tournament is voluntary." After our posts were deleted, the question of the content of Dirty Player's post becomes irrelevant. The main complaint is directed at the actions of the organizers – a dangerous precedent is being created, where posts (note – not spam or flame, I emphasize – this is IMPORTANT) that do not align with the organizers' opinion are deleted (the justifications may be different – expediency, irrelevance...). Next time, if your opinion doesn't align, what then? Is it right to silence you? I simply want the opinions of the players to be heard (not corrections of factual inaccuracies, etc., but specifically regarding the organization, the rules – there was no preliminary discussion of this tournament), even if they don't align with the organizers' opinion – I believe this is not the case here! IMHO – it's wrong. P.S. Most likely, your post will be left untouched (what reason is there to delete it? – you are doing the organizers' job by attracting players; you will even be praised – "good lad"), while mine – because it doesn't align with the organizers' point of view and is generally deemed unnecessary from the perspective of creating unwanted hype – my post may be deleted; want to bet? to Nagan:
