We, namely Warmonger and Primus, decided to organize a duel tournament in 2008 called "Between Light and Darkness."
The winners of the tournament will receive: $50 for first place, $30 for second place, $20 for third place, and a consolation prize in the form of a King's Bounty: The Legend disc, or something else of the same value (approximately 300-350 rubles) for fourth place!!!

To create a fast and very interesting tournament in which victory requires not only skill in playing with certain heroes, but also a good strategy.

3. Tournament Rules
Games are played on the latest official version of the game. Currently, this is Heroes of Might and Magic 5: Tribes to the East 3.0.
By default, the game is played on the Ubi server. By agreement, the game can be played through the Hamachi program.
The "Onslaught!" and "Abyss" maps are prohibited for selection!

Group stage:
Each player plays 4 games against each opponent in the group. One player creates two games, and the other player creates two games. The player highlighted in red in the table creates the first game. The player who created the game chooses the map on which the game will be played, then the second player chooses a hero (from their list of allowed heroes), then the first player chooses a hero (from their list of allowed heroes), and the game begins. In the next game, the roles are reversed. In the next game, the heroes who played in the previous games (within the same match) do not participate, meaning that any hero can be used only once during the entire match against an opponent. Based on the results of the match (4 games), the player receives 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. A topic for reports will be created in a separate thread.
After all games in the group have been played, the places are determined by the total number of points. The top four players advance to the final stage. In case of a tie in points, the places are determined by: a) the results of head-to-head duels; b) the highest number of wins; c) the best difference between wins and losses in all duels; d) the coefficient; e) the date of the last match.

The game is played until 3 wins.
Hero selection is from the opponent's list of allowed heroes. The player who placed higher in their group creates the first game. The first player chooses the map, then the second player chooses a hero, then the first player chooses a hero, and the game begins. In the next game, the roles are reversed, and so on. In the next game, the heroes who played in the previous games do not participate. In the 5th game, the winner of the previous battle creates the game.
Quarterfinals:
Before the start, each participant indicates 14 heroes that the opponent cannot play.
The game is played until 3 wins.
