I agree with you, but only partially. I wanted to say that, in my opinion, Chance sometimes delivers, but sometimes he just talks nonsense. Specifically regarding the shows, I don't like the following: "good jokes" - I don't like the way they subtly pressure the guests to somehow sneak in the round's placard; the "understand me" contest with the propeller or vibrator - that's also nonsense. When they sing in reverse, it's performed so-so, but the idea is good. "He came" - I don't like the fact that it's impossible to say in advance whether the show will be funny or not - it all depends on the guests. And if they invite someone like Anfisa Chekhova, the humor automatically drops to the level of vulgarity (she focuses attention on her "charms," on her underwear, etc., so it's unpleasant to watch), or if they invite Pushnoy, who sometimes spouts nonsense, although he's a humorous guy in general, or if they invite some "log" who just stands there, is silent, and acts dumb. But sometimes it can be funny. As far as I remember, Adabashyan was brilliant there, so the actors were even lost, not knowing how to continue the performance - that's a true master of improvisation. I also liked the improvisation of one actor who appeared in some series on STS. It was also good; he answered tricky questions in a way that was logical and not vulgar - he came out unscathed. Regarding the series: it's the same - some episodes are amazing, and some are just not good, really not good. P.S. I'm not a fan of his shows; I don't follow them in the TV schedule, and I've probably watched not that many episodes, and it's quite possible that I have a distorted view of these shows.
