You raised an interesting question. Well, maybe their goal is personal domination and eternal life in the world of the dead, probably.

I don't agree that the Necropolis' goal is domination; they simply serve to maintain balance, like, if the dark factions attack, they'll get what's coming to them, and the same goes for the light factions.
Okay, now about the early and late game, I think that against the Stronghold and Orcs, the Necropolis won't have an easy time. I'd also like to see, or at least test, the late game Necropolis against the Fortress. Maybe someone can say who is stronger? I think that in the early stages of the game, the Necropolis has a better chance of winning. But the late game Necropolis is not weak.
