No, I haven't read that, although the cynical style of Bernard amuses me. However, I have read the gritty "Salimov's Fate," "Strelec," and "The Corpse," all by the same author, after which many things became easier to perceive and understand. And although this has nothing to do with mathematics or language, it might inspire such thoughts; the aftereffect is quite strong.
