mathematics is the law by which everything operates, language is a way of transmitting thoughts and more... And in general, there is such a thing as the "language of mathematics." There are things that everyone should understand, even non-humanoids - if such beings exist. Mathematics is a universal language that humans, computers, and even aliens will understand - so mathematics is the language. And if that's the case, why argue?
