For example, a newbie comes in who doesn't know what to do. Why laugh? They'll start using the search function, and then write to the coordinators... I completely agree with nik312. The number of posts, and especially the reputation, shouldn't affect anything! Except perhaps for increasing or decreasing the reputation of other users.
