Phoenixes – no comment.
Wolves – a very strong unit, IMHO. In the campaign for VS, wolves join either through a script or a bug. And I personally fought with them for quite a while; not only are they tough, but they are also very strong. Moreover, the summoned stack is not considered a recruited one. If the "original" stack is completely destroyed, and the summoned one remains intact, the number of wolves will not change after the battle.
The most respectable elementals are the fire peppers. For their ranged attack and multiple shots...
Knights – also strong mounts. The developers skillfully place them in campaigns, for example, when they give you a hundred dragons in VS.
Although, in general, all neutral creatures are remarkable and are among the strongest creatures at their level (except perhaps for some elementals).
PS Are there really weak versions of phoenixes and death knights in the game? I didn't know...
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
