Castles and Ramparts usually have the best resource spawns.
Each resource spawn is unique, and each has buildings that appear more often (i.e., are prioritized). For example, on grassy terrain, you'll find dwarven mines, archery ranges, and stables... On swamp terrain, you'll find crypts, archery ranges, and dancing elves. On barbarian lands, you'll most often find ponds (which double magic and add an extra movement point). On necropolis terrain, you'll also find crypts.... And so on. Therefore, claiming that Ramparts and Castles have the best territory is unreasonable! For example, on swamp terrain, you can gather enough resources on the first day to take several crypts (including maxed ones, but that's another story), and your economy won't suffer. On barbarian lands, if you visit the ponds correctly, you'll move quickly, which significantly speeds up development. On grassy terrain, when playing as a Castle and with an external stable, by the second week (assuming you have tier 1 horses in the citadel), you'll already have almost a "fully equipped" army of 5 groups of horses, and with a Vale, you'll also have a lot of archers! Therefore, it all depends on the player and their ability to play! Sometimes, there are cases where you can only hire a maximum of 2-3 heroes on the first day, and the resource spawn is terrible, but you manage to get to level 1-6 in the Castle! (This has happened). In general, Ramparts are not stronger than others; they only win in terms of speed and early-game elves. For example, a swamp with a group of gorgons on the third week is, in my opinion, stronger. That's all. Thanks for your attention
