Elves can perform well during a castle assault: 2 flying units, 2 excellent archers... In my opinion, it's a good set for an assault.

I agree that it's a good set, even a very good one. But think about it: Demons have only one archer, but thanks to the expert-level Gate skill, they can have 6 creatures, in addition to the Devil, appear on the enemy castle's territory. But the Devil can teleport there on his own anyway.
