On April 18, 1923, a constituent assembly was held, at which it was decided to create a new sports society. It was named "Dynamo" after the factory where one of the participants of the assembly, Leonid Nedolya-Goncharenko, worked. The translation of the word from Greek turned out to be suitable - "strength." Soon, the colors were also chosen, opting for white and blue.
