Which level 2 creature is the best?

Starting with the Tower. What to do? Apparently, scout the territory. With whom? A hero with not the slowest troops, considering that this is happening, possibly, in the snow. Besides gargoyles, who else could it be? I don't know... Then, I bought a couple of heroes, looked around, and probably went to attack someone. Well, probably for that, I upgraded the gremlins. And now the question: who should lead the neutral creatures? From the native units, only gargoyles... Of course, if a secondary hero with snakes appeared, that's good, but gargoyles in the snow without a penalty is one thing, and on their own territory, their speed in battle is not the worst for leading - that's another. That's why I like gargoyles. Although, you know, sometimes they say: "it's bad with you, but even worse without you..." I've just been without gargoyles a few times when starting with the Tower. It's awful. That's the situation...
