Discussion of level 1 monsters.

In my opinion, dwarves are practically useless, even in the early game. Their slowness is very detrimental to the army as a whole, and to themselves. At most, they can withstand one hit from stronger monsters, and they are probably only suitable for protecting your own units from enemy casters.

Maybe they are useless. But have you tried using magic against them? ;) For me and my mages, they have always been a real headache... I just can't take them down quickly :o Besides, I was answering the question "Who is the strongest?" So, I think dwarves are quite powerful guys, although they are slow :)

And fairies, thanks to their speed and retaliatory attacks, will definitely land at least one hit and not die after it, so you'll have to spend one turn destroying them :)

Yes, I've always respected fairies and taken them with me since HoMM 1 :) By the way, they helped me a lot in the final battles, of course, if enough of them survived :)
In terms of usefulness, imps are very effective. They just annoy me, they are like little thieves :)
