I wandered all week around my huge respawn and never found a mine of ore. I built liches, but cavalry and the Stronghold were out of the question. On one side, Evil Eyes guard the passage to the swamp; on the other, Cerberi in the underground. Fewer than fifty skeletons, so I really didn’t see any prospects and preferred to start a new game.
A pretty decent respawn, plus I’m above ground while Igor is in the underground. Decided to play. On the first week, cavalry in the Stronghold. Scouted 3 medusa pens, 2 crypts (taken on the first week). Broke through to the grass, freed Galtran (level 5 with two stacks) from a prison, ending the first week with 150 skeletons. On the second week, I take the near-max medusa pen with Galtran, where I left 6 liches :(. Then Vokial takes two more medusa pens, where one horse died a hero’s death in the max-level one. With vampires, I take a +6 sword for 100 nomads, then a +3/+3 atk/def shield for 120 nomads, and an external dwelling of liches. I built the Castle and dragons. A scout hero with three dragons takes another external dwelling of liches on the third week. I decide to hit the GO on the third week, because the opponent has a native secondary skill, and I haven’t found anything tasty. I take a Pandora’s box for 35 grandmothers with a stack of upgraded necro horses, upgrade and buy all 136 of them, then try to hit 16 golden dragons (the GO) with just 18 vampires. But despite being a vampire specialist, having decent stats, and expert armor, it wasn’t enough to break them. A shame, of course, because post-mortem showed I had much more meat than the opponent: 340 upgraded skeletons, 9 upgraded horses, 17 upgraded liches, 45 upgraded grandmothers, 40 upgraded zombies, 3 dragons. At that time, the opponent had 100 skeletons, 10 vampires, about 10 wyverns, and some chaff. But my morale after the loss was -3, so I surrendered.
Here, everything was also great. Both spawned above ground. The GO — basic wyverns. But: one passage to the underground is guarded by 20-49 Evil Eyes, the second by the same, and also to the grass, where scouting revealed two Dragon Utopias in a row. I decided that if I couldn’t break through on day 1-1-3, I would restart. I build liches on day 1-1-3, buy all from the Castle plus 4 Evil Eyes from the second hero (had 90 skeletons). I attack the Eyes, losing half the skeletons and some zombies. I decide to play. Secondary skill — Conflux, which is very good because of great skeleton growth via butterflies, whose dwelling I also found on the second week. First week: liches in the Stronghold, two money heroes, near the Conflux an external dwelling of Psis for upgraded flies, and nearby I see a conservatory with 2 angels and a passage to the treasure zone to those very two Dragon Utopias (one, however, was guarded by Arch Devils, who also guarded a Pandora’s box and resources, but the other was guarded by a horde of trees). On the second week, Clavius takes a Naga Bank (20 Nagas) with 200 skeletons and 2 Psis, breaks into the secondary skill, and by day 1-2-2 is at the conservatory, which he takes the same day. Skeletons are nearly 400. I take the minimal Hive and decide on day 1-3-3 to take the Dragon Utopia, planning to break the GO and storm the opponent on the third week, who again sits with a native secondary skill :(. Not enough troops for the non-max Dragon Utopia (it turned out to be a two-stack): 350 skeletons, 6 upgraded horses, 12+12 upgraded zombies, 3 Psis, 4 wyverns, 2 angels, but no armor and stats are 4-5. Therefore, I didn’t finish off the 4 dragons (though I made a slight misplay and the skeletons, still as one stack, didn’t attack one round — rather, they didn’t reach to attack). Well, after that loss, there was no point in continuing, and I so wanted to get there again on the third week. By the way, in all three games there were slow roads, and in all three games Igor had native secondary skills . P.S. HOW I HATE SLOW ROADS :smile35: Thanks for the games!
