What is your opinion about Heroes IV?

I anticipate a barrage of criticism, but I spent some time with the fourth installment and ultimately abandoned it. The ability to level up a team of super-mega heroes is certainly interesting at first, but personally, I find it more engaging and challenging to select and manage armies of creatures. Overall, it becomes somewhat monotonous as the hero levels up.
