In short, in the mid-range price segment, the companies are roughly on par, in the budget segment, ATi has a slight lead, and in the high-end segment, NVidia does. As a result, their market shares are approximately comparable, with a slight advantage for the latter. Although, the situation may have changed somewhat. In any case, Nvidia is currently in a more advantageous position. However, the undisputed leader remains Intel, which occupies a large part of the market, however strange that may sound.
Personally, I prefer Nvidia, although I wouldn't refuse interesting and advantageous offers from the competing company. ATi just needs to improve its drivers, and everything will be fine for them :) The only question is when this will happen...
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
