The battle was lost due to a poor strategy. I shouldn't have exposed myself to the enemy's direct attack; I had mass acceleration. Valiska's archers gained significant morale, and then they were resurrected by an archangel. After the first turn, there was nothing left to fight with. If Gurnisson had been a couple of squares to the left, Valiska wouldn't have been able to reach him, and Gurnisson, with his expert logistics, would have captured the enemy's castle and upgraded the angels. The plan failed.
