Well, crap, the floodscar ended and Alucard closed the topic. It was amusing while it lasted, but it's a shame about the thread—we had a pretty good time. I guess the same fate awaits the pub. Back in Samara in the mid-90s, pubs were starting to compete pretty fiercely with each other; the customers had gotten lazy and weren't diving into brawls over beer anymore. As a result, profits started drying up, but the brotherhood still had to be paid—meaning the pub owners had to kick a cut to the racketeers. That's when the law of capitalism kicked in, which, as usual, was mixed with Russian recklessness and daring. And the pubs started burning down—literally, they were being torched in the heat of competition. Now on HeroesWorld, Alucard has opened a new topic, "League of Honorable Gentlemen." And I noticed that all the brotherhood from the pub has been drifting over there. So to speak, with beer bellies and swollen mugs after drinking and fighting, they're all joining this league. Of course, I couldn't resist either—the herd instinct is a powerful thing (i.e., from rags to riches, so to speak). Since everyone's moving over there, the big question for Alucard is: will the pub go up in flames in the heat of competition? Hey, Al, don't touch the pub, okay? Because otherwise, after getting tired of walking around with a bow tie in the League of Gentlemen, you'll just take it off and head to the pub to bust some faces and drink beer—that's the real pleasure. A personal request: MAY THERE ALWAYS BE BEER and the pub, of course. :smile03: :smile13: :smile12: :smile54:
