Your favorite unit...

I didn't have Jarls, but I had 4 (before the Jarls) - phew, what a load of crap!!!! They attacked 50-70 with 4 of them!!! And this is level 6???????

Why criticize so harshly? A creature is not just about damage. Especially for Dwarves - look at the Mountain Guards. Yes, they don't hit hard, but by the time you take them down to kill the archers, those archers will finish them off... And they also attack in a chain, and with the Rune of Fury, they're amazing...
My favorites are the dragons, priests, and bears. I like the dragons for their appearance, the bears are tough and also cute, and the priests are the main offensive force of the Dwarves, IMHO.
