But fantasy revolves only around mages and elves. That's why it's mostly the same. Everywhere there's an arch-enemy, a princess, and a hero, often an ancient elven prophecy; everywhere there are the elves themselves. Fantasy is interesting to play or watch, but reading it doesn't offer much variety.
