I confirm!

There were 3 paths: 1 - to the Haven; 2 - 20-49 Ice Elementals (to the dungeon); 3 - for secondary resources, 50-99 Harpies.

I had 120+ Greater Trogols in my army. I took a Minotaur lair, and cleared 50-99 Harpies. Behind them were 50-99 Hellhounds, to be precise, 80, guarding the Artifact (which couldn't be bypassed).
For some reason, I attacked, anticipating secondary resources (Fortress), and only 5-9 Hellhounds remained alive, but Shakti was already gone.
