China - Qingming Festival is celebrated on one of the days from April 4th to 6th. Traditionally, on this day, people commemorate their ancestors. The Qingming Festival is also called "Tacinzhe," which means "Day of walking among the first greenery."
Senegal - Independence Day (1960). On April 4th, France transferred the powers it held within the French Community to Senegal. Senegal's independence was proclaimed on August 20, 1960.
Taiwan - Mother's Day and Children's Day.
Muslim holiday - Ashura Day (Bahrain, Lebanon, Iraq) - a day of remembrance for prophets and messengers of Allah.
