No exaggeration, this is a GREAT topic! :D Thanks to DVD_forever for the suggestion! :-)

I won't write a history, there are so many of them that I don't even know where to start. ;-) I'll tell you a little about my favorite hobby instead!

My grandfather got me into fishing when I was about 6 years old, and I guess that's when it really stuck with me, especially when a small kid like me caught a bream weighing 1.7 kg, I remember it like it was yesterday. I won't embellish the story about how a 6-7 year old boy managed to pull out such a giant, but it's something I'll never forget, just like this wonderful hobby.

Since then, a lot of time has passed, and so has a lot of dirt, garbage, fuel oil, and other junk :-( in my favorite Ob River. There's not as much fish left in the river, and it's not the same anymore. And my age doesn't allow me to spend as much carefree time in nature, with a fishing rod in my hands... oh well, all that's left is to wait for retirement! :D

I started like everyone else with a "float," then a bottom rod for catching crucian carp on the In River, then a "rubber band" for perch, then grayling in the mountains, and then... now I only seriously fish with a spinning rod, and even then, I only managed to get out a few times last summer :-(. In general, I consider myself a fairly professional fisherman. About 5 years ago, I even wondered which I was better at, fishing or Heroes ;-) Of course, I'm better at Heroes, but fishing is also important to me. Just consider the fact that I not only know but also perfectly master the use of an inertial reel - now everyone uses non-inertial reels, but back then - wow, I know how to tie nets (screens, if you will), stamp and make lures, etc. Although all of this is fading away, I haven't picked up any of these things in a long time. :-(... My beloved grandfather taught me all of this, may he rest in peace, he was a commercial fisherman in the north during the war, and he saw a lot of fish and gained a lot of experience. :-)

So, I have many other hobbies (such as): playing the guitar, billiards, soccer, hiking in the mountains, but due to lack of time, all these "hobbies" come down to simply earning money. :-(
