I confirm, the situation was a stalemate – I could have blocked Marius in the castle (there was no way to bypass him) and forced him to attack, and 2 hidden Cyclops are quite a lot. IMHO, it's unsportsmanlike, so I attacked and didn't run away. The armies were roughly equal, but the castle made a difference – Gurney died in battle.
