Nicholas didn't just fail to defeat three demons; he sent the entire huge demon army to Shi'o.

Where did you see an army? If I remember correctly, in the scripted video, Nicholas hits one horned demon three times, after which it dies, but, oh the horror, now three horned demons are running towards our hero. He's already afraid of such a huge number, and he takes out an amulet of Chaos Guardians from his pocket (or rather, from his neck), after which the three demons teleport away. Was there an army of four demons? Although, the idea that he "defeated" an entire army and then Agrael finished him off with a laser looks even worse.

Agrael was probably already half-demon by that point, thanks to his love for Isabel.

Eh, well, is being a demon a state of mind? And if he had shown love to Friede along with Isabel, would he have become not a demon at all? Oh, wait, you're right, he probably lost the second demonic half because of his love for Tieru. I hope my sarcasm doesn't offend anyone;)
