Dialogues with Moderators

Okay, I’ll repeat myself: the phrases you cited don’t apply solely to Adelaide (with the exception of the one about “beauty”).

Your 5 cents were the root cause of this argument, IMHO.

I’m saying this because I didn’t provide a detailed response, as is customary here, with phrases highlighted, etc.

As far as I understand the situation, the topic about selecting new moderators was created for the “Admin,” and candidates were chosen by the forum members, not appointed by the coordinator… therefore, the complaints are inappropriate, especially since the comparison is with a situation that is completely different from this one.

And again, I’m talking about something else. I’m saying that if Adelaide can provide this kind of “support,” wouldn’t it be easier for her (or another coordinator, I reiterate that I have nothing against Adelaide specifically; I’m just responding to her because she wrote that phrase) to spend time studying the candidates (especially since half the work is already done, as many forum members have already expressed their opinions), and then, as soon as new moderators appear and there is less spam, it will be a big plus for the coordinators. That’s what I think is important.

Missing the point… look at the date of the “old topic about moderator elections” and the date Adelaide and the other coordinators took office; they are definitely aware of the old topic.

The persistence is astonishing. Make an effort and read my previous post. There is no criticism of Adelaide. At least, not from my side. I don’t want to resort to personal attacks. It doesn’t make anyone look good
