I confirm.
I gave up the Castle because my opponent was running towards my capital too confidently. If he had stayed in the Castle, he would have definitely defended it. I thought he was either a red Death Knight or had magic. +250 mana wouldn't help me take the Castle. There was a Cloak of Restriction (1-3 magic) on the respawn point below, so I moved there. But it turned out to be a mistake... because my opponent didn't have magic higher than level 2.
I guessed wrong =)
