Besides, Catch reread books about how Christianity is EVIL (exactly like that), and mocks history textbooks because he knows better what was really happening back then. I promised not to argue anymore in this thread, but if Catch asks you to quote any of these statements, I can dig through the thread and provide a quote with a comment.
Nah, no need for that :)
I've read about as many books about the evil of Christianity as I have about the evil of other religions ;) Including atheism  History textbooks? Well, how can I treat them if, during my school years, they wrote one thing, today they write another, and tomorrow they will write a third. And this applies not only to events of the last century, but also to long-gone days. And I prefer other authors to history textbooks, whom I trust more, but I admit that they are not without flaws either ;)
P.S. I'm curious :) Why is Great Neo so consistently giving me dislikes? :) It seems like I haven't said anything about the evil of his religion in my recent posts :) And even the opposite, it turns out he supports Lelya, who has fallen under the influence of the Antichrist, and doesn't want her to leave it :) Strange guy :)

Of course, a significant number of priests use their position to line their pockets, but you should see what Catch writes, it's something else... Christianity was created with the goal of destroying the Roman Empire, and it successfully accomplished its task, and then, under the threat of complete destruction, Vladimir was ordered to baptize the Slavs. In this part, I'm afraid I might be wrong, but he (Vladimir) killed so many of his fellow tribesmen that it's impossible to count, and almost destroyed Rus'.
When I say EVIL, I mean EVIL on exactly that scale :)
Oops... the edited post has become much more interesting :) Before you start mocking my words, you should go beyond the school textbook, which now contains so much nonsense that it's sickening to read. Read some good authors, not those who are now trying to politically correct our history. And form your opinion about Vladimir not from the same-named cartoon, in which history has been so distorted that it is simply impossible to watch for someone who knows at least a little about history.
Do you know that Vladimir, being an illegitimate son of Svyatoslav, had no rights to the throne, treacherously killed his brothers with the support of Byzantium, and the condition of this support was precisely the adoption of Christianity by Rus'? I hope you know how the violent introduction of religion happens? Even not on the example of Rus', but on more recent ones. How missionaries introduced Christianity in Africa and America... Before you laugh, be at least a little knowledgeable about the subject and start learning to have your own opinion, different from what you are being instilled by various kinds of propaganda, whether it is government or religious. ;)
