Hive of Races

"But what if we create something unlike anything else, something special, something... for example, a completely mechanical race?" No, friends, that's going too far. The Heroes universe implies a heroic-epic fantasy genre, where each race has its own historical and, most importantly, meaningful origin. By adding elements of science fiction, we destroy the foundation of the fantasy world, turning it into technomancy, or, if you will, technofantasy. We could create a mishmash, putting races similar to those from StarCraft into the world: some kind of bio-mutant like the Zerg, or technical Terrans, alien Protoss... I understand that I'm exaggerating, but would you want to see such a hodgepodge in Heroes? The world, which is already not entirely truthful, would become a complete fabrication. And even if we come up with a race that uses gunpowder, it turns out that they are the smartest and the only ones who expressed a desire to study technology... I don't quite believe that. Subconsciously, the player will understand the complete unreality of what is happening on the screen. But even a little bit of realism would create a greater sense of immersion. Wouldn't it be better to realistically create, for example, a race of vampires who, for some secret reason, have renounced their vampirism? A little intrigue, a few bright heroes, and balanced warriors. That would be much more appealing. Although, all of the above is just my personal opinion
