Campaigns are more interesting than just battles and strategy; you also learn the story, and you can develop significantly in rare scenarios. When entering familiar buildings, you can receive unusual bonuses and experience adventures; during missions, the main heroes can change (sometimes a Dark hero, sometimes a Forest Elf - the "Day of Fiery Tears" Campaign is dedicated to the burning of Brigida and the division of the Elves). Also, I recommend the "Legacy of Darkness: Chapter One" Campaign by Honter, preferably in the latest version (somewhere at the end of the forum, a revised version with a mentor in the last mission). It's a very interesting adventure for the Dwarves (in the plot, they are like Vikings):smile19:
