Maybe I'm doing something wrong? But after the "one-way" teleport, I can't break through anywhere. It's impossible to kill the "Phoenixes".

Well, Frida is no longer a low-level unit! I had her with attack and defense over 15; with such parameters, even 5 paladins are quite a force.
I personally defeated the phoenixes by casting mass Haste, Stone Skin, Bless, and Swiftness, and the phoenixes received mass Weakness and Slow. By the way, Blindness works on phoenixes, and before the 2nd mission (if I'm not mistaken), Frida is offered this spell as a starting bonus, and it carries over to all subsequent missions. I recommend it.
