Kabal is a good guy; he just had bad luck with his appearance, which made him bitter.
In general, he has a rather sad story.
Hmm, I played Heroes of Might and Magic 4 on my computer a long time ago. I remember completing the first quest with Raydon, using his flying attack, and I was incredibly proud. The other heroes would often fall to Gorro because he would frequently... stomp on the characters.
And I only used one type of attack for each character – a shot, a strike, or something similar.
A seven-year-old newbie :)
I couldn't even be bothered to figure out combos.
...I also played on a Sega console at a friend's house. I remember one summer, the five of us would hang out together.
We'd buy a bunch of crackers, water, and chewing gum *censored*, and we'd spend the whole day at the owner's house. We played many games, including Battletoads, Chaos Engine (Butters sends his regards), Dune, Road Rash, and so on, but the main thing was Mortal Kombat :)
There was a book with hints and cheat codes for various Sega games lying in a pile of wrappers nearby.
It was fun.
Especially when everyone would choose their character, and they would get really upset if someone else picked the one they wanted.
Ah, <whining and reminiscing about the good old days>...
Damn, it didn't take much to make us happy as kids :D
