Please help! I'm stuck on the second mission of the Elven faction. They keep killing me, even on Warrior difficulty. I need some advice, not cheats or anything. Just a simple suggestion. Thanks in advance, Ann.
You need to find the obelisks, enter them, and then the Emeralds will appear on the map (otherwise, they simply won't be there).
For Ann - quickly explore your island, build up your Castle (they won't let you build dragons until the end of the game), run to the basement, and look for an exit in the northeast (approximately). You won't have enough strength (money) to open the obelisks yet, as you've spent everything on building the Castle. Get out to the surface and run to your Castle (it's still weak). Then, conquer everything you can, accumulate resources, and open the obelisks. When I played, I was worried that the enemy would destroy the dragons I summoned, but they just run past. There's another exit from the dungeon; build a ship there and sail to the lower left corner of the map, where the enemy Castle is. Take it! It's not far from your Castle territorially, but it's separated by islands, so summoning an army won't help you. Oh, and I almost forgot - a tank will emerge from the enemy island. For now, you can lure it to some island and keep it there. As soon as it lands, buy a hero (you should have the ship summoning magic), recall the ship, and get on it. Until another hero builds a new ship, it won't be able to leave the island. Gather your forces and attack it (don't let it go back to the dungeon, where it will add its creatures and you're done for). I ran around from it until I figured out where it was getting its troops from (I had to replay from an earlier save).
But in general... if you had specified where you were stuck, I could have given a more concise answer (I wouldn't have gotten confused while writing). ;)
