The difference of offline play in Heroes II and Heroes III.

- unit bonus (number of identical creatures = 2, or simply whether similar creatures exist = 1, if no similar creatures exist = 0)

What does the number mean? Does it equal the number of creatures being joined, or is it greater than...?
What is the difference from "simply whether similar creatures exist"?
