The first stage of the "Mr. HeroesWorld 2008" contest.

So please be patient. :) It’s a pity that not everyone submitted their stories for the contest. Well… those who didn’t submit should start preparing for the second stage. A big request to all participants! Please do not say whether you sent in a story for the first stage before the voting ends! Otherwise, we will have to figure out who sent one and who didn’t! I apologize for the delay in the voting... but circumstances turned out this way. I miscalculated the technical side of the competition, so I have to insert each smiley manually, which takes a lot of time. I won't describe the whole mechanism. This is my mistake; I should have checked everything carefully and planned the competition better! As a result, a lot of time is spent processing the stories. And also, dear participants... I hope you are not too upset if some smileys are not exactly as you sent them to me. Sometimes it is difficult to determine what specific smiley it is when it is not animated; I have to guess based on its meaning, and sometimes I simply cannot find it… maybe because I am tired or inattentive! Okay, well, I’ve started complaining now :)) So just wait :) The stories are all very interesting, so the competition will be tough. But definitely, the first stage was successful :)
