Confirmed.
The opponent easily took the upper wizard's Castle because I went to take it with a minimal army (archers, peasants, and halflings from the lair), while he went (although a day later) with ogre lords. I sent one Barbarian into the desert for the djinn, and with the other, after building cavalry, I spent 2 weeks attacking his starting Castle.
The upper Barbarian with the djinn was successfully defeated; the djinn couldn't cope. But the Castle on the left was taken. In fact, my main mistake, which ultimately decided the outcome of the battle, was that I left the Barbarian's Castle to meet the enemy hero, hoping to kill him - and lost my second Castle. I was left without money and with newly built paladins. In desperation, I attacked the enemy with 6 paladins, which were easily destroyed by the towers in the Castle. With one knight's Castle and no money, there was nothing left to do. The surrender was signed.
