Damn... I'm horrified. There's so much negativity on the forums. You know, you can also say nasty things about the other factions. Be proud of your factions, and if you start "smearing" them with negativity, how will it feel? (please don't think I'm comparing this to real life)
If you don't like it, don't play.
Regarding strength, based on my experience playing as Sylvan, it seems that people don't particularly enjoy playing against them.
