Rome total War

I honestly really liked Invasion, just like the originals. What tactics do you usually use in battle? For example, Romans against Greeks and Macedonians? I first bombard them with catapults or ballistae, then move in to the range of archers or velites, and then attack with cavalry on one flank and heavy infantry on the front.
