Absolute skills

Well, today I was playing as the Elves. I thought I had a good strategy in mind, and I was playing the "Ascension to Power" map. Experience was accumulating quickly, and I was getting closer to my goal. But after defeating everyone and everything on the map, I realized that I still needed about two more levels. What a bummer! I even gave the computer time to develop and raised creatures on the map, but I guess I miscalculated. It's a pity, but my day will come...
