Well, if you've read this, try extracting this file to the C:\Windows\System32 folder and then launch Heroes.
Don't forget that this uploaded file is an archive, so you need to extract it (unzip it).
So, I extracted the main game archive to c:\heroes, and what you sent to System32?
If that's the case, I did it, but nothing changed.

I went into the Heroes folder, clicked on installation, and a window with the main menu opened, offering three options:
1. Change music preference
2. Change sound card configuration
3. Save changes
I clicked on the third option, and then everything closed, and when I clicked on the game, a purple screen appeared.

I clicked something in the installation, and it started working, but then it crashed.
