Which level 1 monster do you like the most in Heroes of Might and Magic V?

I hope you have Stalkers at level zero, otherwise it just won't work... Archers... What are Archers? 300 of them are taken out in 3 volleys by a dueling ballista from Vittorio... So, in my opinion, Warriors would be a better choice.

Come on, enough about the Hunters... Everyone is threatening to nerf them, considering that every other player is playing as Dungeon:D

Seriously, I don't know of a unit that can be compared to Hunters in terms of power/usefulness.
In terms of power, Warriors are the closest (at half the distance, not the full distance like everyone else, and under Ingvar), but in terms of usefulness - when a single Hunter takes out huge crowds of dangerous neutrals (not slow units) - there is no competition.
