Battlefield size in Heroes 5.

What's up with that :eek:? People play Disciples, and there the hero only has 2-4 warriors, that's it!
Is this the new trend now?!

I have nothing against Disciples. Although I also have nothing against Age of Wonders. And if in the first case the battlefield is indeed very small, then in the second it is very large, but:
1. What do heroes have to do with it?
2. No unit in Disciples needs to move anywhere AT ALL.
But in Heroes, the game is still based on unit movement during combat.
