What's so difficult about it? It's 8%, not more difficult than leadership or attack luck (which are considered almost native to the dwarf); light magic has the same probability of appearing... Besides, you can take Inga - education and scholar from the start, which is what I do if I go to Dungeon. It's easy to get mana and +2 to spell power right away.
