2Loken In my opinion, you're exaggerating. I wouldn't say there's such a fierce struggle for dominance in the off-topic section. Rather, one person (usually Ar, and he even wrote about it himself) just can't resist commenting on an "interesting" post, meaning one where, in his opinion, he can make a joke, and the second person supports this impulse. Honestly, I don't understand what the fuss is about. It's the off-topic section, what else could be there? Intelligent conversations? Well, you could try going to the "What Fans Love" section, although they'll probably end up there anyway.
