BBcode is the markup language that we all use on the forum. You can find its detailed specification in Wikipedia. It’s all there in black and white, as simple as it gets.

but will they be able to read my document later... I don't know... because the editor is different...

OOffice can easily save in MS format :) Just choose “Save as...” and then change the format to Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) :) So, I think everything will work out after all :)
